A NEAR TRIPLE DOUBLE
Last night was our road game vs Waregem and I almost recorded my first triple double since I was in high school. I finished the game with 21 points, 12 rebounds and 9 assists. So I am blaming my teammates for not making this triple double, somebody should have made one more shot, lol. But to the game, we won 105-86 after only being up by 2 at half time. We started off slow and they played hard the first 5 minutes of the game and like every other team we wore them down as the game progressed. We shot an unbelievable 25-39 from 2 and 13-26 from 3, so a total field goal percentage of 58. Wednesday, we play Oostende for an exhibition game, so we get another chance to play a first division team, we will see how that goes. I know it feels like spring is in the air over here because the sun has been out the past two days, but my mom called early this morning to let me know that it is snowing in Alabama. Yes, that is correct, snow in Alabama, first time in my hometown since 1993, you know school will be closed, no church services today and the grocery store is already out of bread, milk and eggs. One inch of snow, 2.5 cm, and my mother acts like she is snowed in and doesn’t want to leave the house.
