First day of practice
Today at 1 o’clock we had our first practice of the season. It was good to get started, felt good to be out there. First day is always an interesting day, you get to meet your new team mates and see people you haven’t seen since last season. We had 7 guys there and only worked on offence today, that’s why I have a lot of respect and like Don as a coach because we didn’t go crazy today. We went through some things, got a lot of work done without going overboard. I asked our assistant coach Pero how his summer was and he said “awful” and I said “how so?” and he said “laying on the beach, fishing, getting a tan, it was awful.” Leave it to Pero to bring the sarcasm to the team.
