FIRST GAME OF 2009
Today Ifinally got back on the court after my one month suspension. This was a tough team to play after a 19 day break between practices from the holidays. Charleroi is a well coached and physical team who in two games have played us very close. The game was 37-36 for us at halftime when our point guard Ed Norvell said to the referee (who was speaking french to the other team) “yeah go talk to your friends” and the ref gives Ed a tech. Who gives a tech during halftime? After the break the refs of course called EVERYTHING against us, in 7 consecutive trips they called fouls, Charleroi was in the bonus with 6 mins to go in the 3rd quarter. Going into the 4th quarter we were only up 2 points but we won 92-80, my stats :24 points 7 rebounds 3 asstists and 1 turnover.
