LAST SEASON’S TEAM REVISITED
The 2007-2008 Bree team was the most talented team I have ever played on. What people did this season proves even more the talent that was on last season’s team. As for me, Odell Hodge, Kevin Reed, Tom Van Camp, and Mike Meeks won the second division title in Belgium. But did you know Mike Meeks was the top 5 scorer in the 2000 Olympics, that’s right the Olympics. Martijn Hendrix finished second in second division and made the playoffs in first division Belgium. Gerrit Major won the Cup and championship in first division in Belgium. Brian Lynch made the semi-finals of the playoffs in first division Belgium. Nick Jacobson made the finals in Slovenia and was 1st team all Slovenia, forward of the year and all import team. D’ or Fischer won the Israeli championship and was also named center of the year and made 1st team all Israel and all import team. Doron Perkins made the finals in Israel and was named player of the year, guard of the year, import player of the year and all defensive team. the coach Don Beck made it to the finals in the Netherlands and won the cup. How in the world did this team not win the championship last year?
