OFFSEASON WORKOUT

The off-season is different from what people think. Most people think it’s just time off with the family and hanging out with friends, nothing could be farther from the truth. The off-season is harder than the season because a lot of days you force yourself to go work out because you know you need to and a lot of the time you are alone or working out with one other person. The gyms are HOT HOT HOT and you are tired because you go see the friends and family you have not seen in a while, you eat the food you have been missing, and watch all the tv and movies you have missed(and keeping up with the shopping my wife is doing). This summer I  have a strength and conditioning coach, a guy named Lou DeNeen. He has worked with NBA players Raja Bell, P J Brown, Jamal Mashburn, Vince Carter, Tim Hardaway and baseball MVP Alex Rodriguez. I work out with Mo Finley, my  former teammate from Liege and we lift weights and run a lot, running  is the very very very hard part. Lou DeNeen is great at what he does but his name should be Lou DeMean because he is killing us but we will be ready for the upcoming season.
