SEMI-FINAL GAME 1
Last night we played the first leg of the semi-finals vs Waregem. We knew going in that they are a great 3-point shooting team. In the 1st quarter we held them to 1 3- point basket, we were up 25-11. In typical Bree fashion we relaxed and gave up a ton of 3-point baskets (17 in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarter). We were down by 1 point in the 4th quarter but we turned up the defense and won the game 92-88. As for me I finished the game with 10 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal, and 1 turnover. I shot 2-5 from 3 and 0-1 from 2 and an awful 4-6 (yes Mom and Miek – I’m sorry) from the free throw line, they played a box and 1 on me so I was the screener all night. The second leg of the semi-finals will be played at our place on Saturday for a trip to the finals.
