THANKSGIVING WEEKEND

This week is Thanksgiving week which is a huge American holiday when family and friends get together and eat massive amounts of food and watch sporting events on tv. Thanksgiving is always the last Thursday of November and with most of the people off work for Thursday and Friday. After you eat turkey, ham, macaroni and cheese, peas and cake and sweet potato pie then comes Black Friday which is the biggest one-day sale in the States. Stores open early, some at midnight and others at 4 in the morning and most of everything is out of stock within 30 mins of the store opening. Then comes the Iron Bowl which is an american football game between Alabama and Auburn the biggest game of the year for people who are from the GREAT state of Alabama.  So now you understand why the thanksgiving weekend is such a big deal. It’s the one time a year you see family members eat great food, shop, and watch sports on tv. After all of this is done and you finally can move again from all the food and sports watching on tv comes Cyber Monday were everything on the Internet goes on a huge sale for you to order online.
