THE LITTLE ONE
Yesterday my wife and I went back to the doctor’s for our monthly check-up for the baby. For months I have said that I will tell the sex and name of the baby to everybody as soon as i find out but I still don’t know. That’s right 24 weeks in and the doctor still can’t see if it’s a girl or a boy. I know I am a man so that means I am no expert on women or their bodies but how is it that my wife is 24 weeks pregnant but she is only in her 5th month? The doctor says the baby will be born around the 40th week , so if it takes 40 weeks why is it called a 9 month pregnancy? Ok back to the baby why is he/she hiding? I have heard all the wives-tales about if the baby hides on the ultrasound it’s a boy because he is hiding his private part. I also heard that if the mother is carrying the baby low (which Miek is) that it will be a girl. So guess what that leaves us ? Right where we are anyway NOT KNOWING. The reason I want to know so bad is because how much white and yellow can one family buy? Doesn’t the baby know their are sales going on right now? Our doctor is a great guy and funny as he ‘s looking and saying over and over he can’t see and me asking him are you sure (25 times) the doctor turns to me and says “nba or wnba it’s the same right”. After we leave the doctor’s and call everybody and tell them we still don’t know I call my brother Corey in Miami and he and his wife Terri went to the doctor’s the same day almost the exact same time (Terri is 20 weeks pregnant) and he found out that he is having a girl MORGAN TAYLOR BEAVERS. We will give it another try on February 16th come on baby show us something……
